And runnin' runnin'...

Fall is certainly my favorite time of year.  It has finally cooled down enough that it's not miserable to be outside, yet it's not too cold to be outside either.  I love the cool weather and the changing leaves. Fall in Utah is absolutely gorgeous!  We took a drive up into Provo Canyon a couple weeks ago to enjoy the fall colors.  I just love the mountains... I really don't know if I could live anywhere that was flat.

We ran a 5k this past weekend.  It was a hallowen themed one at This is the Place Heritage Park.  I think Karen's favorite part of the whole thing was the glitter make-up we put on as part of our fairy costumes. :) 

Craig said that after this experience, he had 3 layers of wedgie from his "super hero" costume.  I guess running 3.2 miles with your whitie-tighties outside your pants isn't such a great idea after all. :)  Haha, I just love this boy.

Life is going pretty well.  We love our new apartment and have finally gotten picture frames on the walls.... unfortunately there are not pictures in most of them yet... haha!  We really need to go through our wedding/engagements and decide what's going on the wall and what's going in the photo album.  Good thing our photographer is familially obligated to love us forever. :)

It's fun to have our own little home to decorate and make our own.  In our last place, we knew we wanted to move out at the end of the year, so we didn't put a lot of effort into making sure it seemed like "our" place.... It didn't seem to make sense to spend the effort putting up all our pictures when they were just going to come down soon.  Sorry about the ranting... I'll post pictures of our new place soon. :)

We're also taking a Doctrine and Covenants class together this semester.  We love having a class together, especially a religion class so we can come home feeling spiritually uplifted and having something new to talk about.  There is so much about the beginnings of this gospel that I didn't understand before taking this class.  I love it!  We're just living life and loving just about every moment of it.
